I think, perhaps at this point, calling my site a blog might be a bit generous. But slowly and surely I'm accruing more toys to review and eventually, I will reach my end goal: world domination! Jk. But really, orgasms for everyone! You're supposed to tag 5 other bloggers in this so they can answer these questions, too, but I'm pretty sure every single blogger has already been tagged. Thanks so much to the sweet, honest, creative, artistic, dreamy, humble Apricot Creams who tagged me in this tour, and whom I liken to the human equivalent of a creamsicle. Her sex toy collection resembles Candyland, and it's awesome. Anywho...
First off; what am I working on?
At the moment, I'm working on the Tantus Cush (that's a girthy sumbitch!), and I have the Tantus Echo and Vamp in my possession, but haven't gotten a chance to try them out yet. My first impressions of them are promising, though. OH! and this may seem dumb, but I'm currently looking to switch hosts for my site and change my name. I'm struggling with that because I interact with many bloggers, so I don't want to eliminate the rapport that I've built up with others. At the same time, I'm thinking that doing it now is the best time to do it, because the more established I become, the more difficult it's going to be to make that transition. Any advice or insight wouI know exactly the name that I want for this blog, and it perfectly encapsulates everything I love in this world. Stay tuned!
How does my work differ from others of its genre?
A lot of sex bloggers claim they have no idea what they're doing, and just making it up as they go along. But I seriously have no idea. There's so much change I want to see in this industry, and one day I hope to be influential enough to have an impact. Toxic toys, mistreatment of sex workers (especially the porn industry), and all of the shit that women go through just for being women are areas that I am passionate about, and I hope that seeps through my writing, because those issues are important and don't receive enough recognition.
Why do I write what I do?
I've always loved writing, and the past few years I've been trying to ease myself back into a healthy sexual relationship, both with myself and with my partner. Suffering a sexual trauma makes loving oneself more of a battle than it should ever be. This is my journey on overcoming fears, triggers, and (hopefully) the start to valuing and loving myself as a person again.
How does my writing process work?
I don't have a succinct one, to be honest. I usually like to review a toy about 5 times or so before I start drafting a review. I take notes during and test the toys alone, as well as their sensations paired with other toys. My reviews tend to be long and rambling, I always cut them in half before I publish them. I have so much to say, and I'm not 100% sure of what others find important, so just let me know if there's a detail missing- I most likely have the answers to your questions, I just didn't include it for the sake of coherent, crisp writing.
